Yeh Hai Mohabbatein for the day has many light moments with family all set for a prenuptial dinner. Bala (Pankaj Bhatia) watches Roshni(Vidisha Srivastava) making gulaab jamun and she asks him not to tell anybody about it. Later as she picks up Adi’s (Abhishek Verma) gulaab jamun to take it away, Adi stops her. He thinks she is trying to ruin his creative product and screams at her and also drops her gulaab jamun in the bin. Roshni leaves the hopes of saving Aliya(Krishna Mukherjee) from Adi’s gulaab jamun. Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) is concentrating on her study of making cocktails. Raman (Karan Patel) is trying his level best to make his pupil excel in her learning but try as he may Ishita is failing miserably. Finally Bala comes in as his saving grace and asks Ishita to just drop the bottles and the juices in Raman’s room and rest they would manage. Mani (Sumit Sachdev) and family arrive for the dinner. Shagun refuses to take off her sun glasses as she is scared to catch conjunctive eyes. Ishita convinces her saying Raman wil not come down for the dinner and she can take the glasses off. Aliya takes Adi aside and asks him about her surprise dish , to which he says she would have to wait till the end of the dinner. Ruhi(Aditi Bhatia) and Mihika(Avantika Hundal) come to get them and take the love birds away. As the dinner progresses the men try their best to fool everyone and sneak off to Raman’s room as poor Raman eagerly pours the drinks and awaits the team. Ishita though has made up her mind to not let the drinks party happen. Each time they try to sneak away Ishita makes an excuse and involves Shobana amma and stops them. Mr. Iyer(Abhay Bhargava) makes a small speech welcoming Aliya into the family and promising her all the love as Ishita had received. As Ishita wishes to say a few words Shagun(Anita Hassanandani) stops her and asks them to start the dinner as then they would all be late otherwise. Ishita agrees with Shagun and says Aliya needs sleep for the next day. As they resume dinner Mihika tells everyone that Roshni is the chief cook for the day alongwith Ishita. The men again try their best to get past Ishita and Shobana amma but fail miserable. Finally Bala takes Ishita aside and asks her why she is not helping them as agreed, Ishita tells him she cannot directly help them infront of Shobana amma. She then says they can go after dinner. Later Ishita makes a toast to Adi and Aliya with aam panna. She and Mihika are happy that they are finally successful in stopping the men from having drinks and ruining the next day with hangover.
Adi takes Aliya inside to his room and surprises her with a beautifully decorated room and the gulaab jamun. She gets excited to tell everyone about it but Adi asks her to taste first and then later they can let everyone have a bite. Aliya asks Adi to feed her. She takes a bite of Adi’s creativity.
Precap: Raman is angry with Ishita for destroying his mighty plans. Ishita explains that she did not want everyone to be hung over the next day also alcohol would just increase his body heat and the infection would get worse making him fail to enjoy the wedding the next day.
