Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with the entire family except Adi(Abhishek Verma)and Aliya(Krishna Mukherjee) celebrating Mr. Bhalla’s(Kaushal Kapoor) surprise cake cutting at midnight. Aliya notices this and feels sad. Adi gets up at 12 and tells Aliya they should go and wish Mr. Bhalla, Aliya tries to dissuade him saying she does not want another issue between him and Raman(Karan Patel). Adi does not listen and takes her along to the celebration. He tells Mr. Bhalla that the family avoided calling them. In the morning Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) makes breakfast and Adi does not have it as he asks Aliya to get him just milk. Romi(Aly Goni) tries to make Adi understand but in his anger Adi signs the contract with Roy and Tanejs. It is revealed that Taneja is actually with troublemaker Ashok (Sangram Singh) they just wanted to separate Adi and Raman.
They decide to play their next game to hurt Raman. Mihika(Avantika Hundal) and Roshni(Vidisha Srivastava) plan Mr. Bhalla’s party and ignore Aliya after her misbehavior with Raman. Aliya feels very bad about it.
Ishita sits worried about the situations in her house as Mrs. Bhalla comes in and she convinces Ishita to tell her everything that happened. Mrs. Bhalla decides to scold Adi and Aliya but Ishita stops her. Ishita hands Mr. Bhalla a gift to be given to Aliya as she was working very hard. Mrs. Bhalla goes off to speak to Aliya. She tells Aliya whatever happened was wrong, she also warns her to be careful that nothing more happens at the party.
Aliya feels bad that Ishita shared the matter with Mrs. Bhalla. Raman gets all worked up and decides to cancel the deal when he hears about Adi signing the contract with Taneja and Roy. Ruhi consoles her Dad and promises she will make everything right, she asks Raman to calm down.
Precap: Aliya forgets to get the suit for Mr. Bhalla at the spa,Raman shouts at her and says this is big goof up. Adi defends his wife and says Mr. Bhalla can change at the venue itself.
