Kumkum Bhagya starts with Abhi(Shabbir Ahluwalia) getting a call from one of his associates saying he would have to travel to Bangalore that day itself. Abhi who has been excited about a date with Pragya(Sriti Jha) is very upset. He tries to postpone the travel but it seems impossible with no tickets available for the next day. Pragya walks in already upset about Aliya and Abhi tells her about his travel. She tells him that she would help him pack. She starts packing still thoughtful and Abhi thinks that she is upset as she was expecting a date with him. He decides to make her feel better and gets romantic. He promises her that he would take her for a alone time once he is back from Bangalore. Pragya thinks that Abhi loves her so much and she has already deceived him.
Disha(Ruchi Savarn) sits worrying about Pragya as she knows there is something very bad happening. Purab(Vin Rana) walks in with a surprise for his wifey a beautiful necklace, though this fails to bring a smile on her face. Purab guesses the reason and asks her to stop worrying about Pragya as Pragya is able to take care of herself.
Disha tells Purab how she found Pragya crying and moreover when she asked Pragya spoke incoherently. Purab gets worried and decides to talk to Pragya about this. Disha is panicking as Purab calms her down saying he too is worried but he will make sure he speaks to her the next morning as he wants Pragya and Abhi to spend the evening without any hindrances.
Aliya and Tanu talk to their lawyer who promises to get the property registered the next day itself. Aliya promises a good reward for him. Aliya later tells Tanu that she had never registered the half of the property in her name as she knew Abhi would get an alert. She waited so she can get the papers for the entire property. Tanu commends her patience and planning as they decide that Tanu would keep Abhi and Aliya would keep Purab as slaves after tomorrow, also they will send Disha to Sangram. Pragya eavesdrops on their conversation as she is relieved to know that Aliya has yet not registered anything, she knows she still has a day to make amends.
As Pragya walks back Mithali interrupts her thoughts and asks her if she too has started doing Mithali’s work of eavesdropping. Pragya thinks that she has to do something to stop Aliya.
