Colors TV show Dastaan e Mohabbat has come to a tragic end with Anarkali breathing her last in Salim's arms. Anarkali fulfills her promise made to Salim as she gets married to him but she makes him unconcious and runs away as she has to fulfill another promise made to Akbar. Anarkali gets ready to accept her harsh punishment getting buried behind the wall and Akbar promises Anarkali that she will be remembered in history for her love and sacrifice. As Jodha suffocates behind the wall, Jodha comes to her rescue and helps Anarkali to escape. Jodha makes arrangements for Salim and Anarkali to unite and escape together.

However, Anarkali's fate is doomed as evil Murad sets out to kill her. As Anarkali waits for Salim, Murad stabs her to death and Salim finds his Anarkali severely wounded. Anarkali takes her last breaths in Salim's arms and Salim is completely shattered by Anarkali's death. Dastaan e Mohabbat comes to a tragic end and will be missed by fans.
